Monday’s Reading Task:
On a Monday, your reading task will be to complete the following D.I.A.L activity
D = Deduction
I = Inference
A = Authorial Intent
L = Literal

Monday’s Writing Task:
This week we will be using ‘OAK ACADEMY’ to look at ‘Diary Entries’.
Today’s task is looking at inference skills for example, why has the author made that character behave that way?
Watch the video and complete the independent activities on the slides.
Make a note of any of the language that you like – you might be able to use it when it comes to writing your own.
