Tuesday’s Reading Activity

This week you will be looking at non-fiction based on rainforest animals. When you have read the text, answer the questions included.

Remember to use full sentences and answer the questions like the reader has not read them.

The answers are at the end.

Tuesday’s Writing Activity

This week we will be using ‘OAK ACADEMY’ to look at ‘Persuasive Writing’.

Today’s task is looking at word meaning.

Watch the video and complete the independent activities on the slides.

Make a note of any of the language that you like – you might be able to use it when it comes to writing your own.

DON’T FORGET to watch the video all the way to the end for your weekly spellings – your spelling test will be on Friday as part of Friday’s Oak Academy video.

Have a go at today’s questions below…

Main Activity

This week on Oak Academy, we are moving on to problem solving across negative numbers, remainders (as decimals and fractions) and money.

Have a look at the link below – look through the video and then have a go at the independent activities. Don’t forget to pause the video when asked to complete the questions in the video!

This can be quite a difficult concept so here is another PowerPoint which may help along with some more practice questions…

Tuesday’s Topic Task

In this lesson, we will recap our previous learning in Spanish and then learn how to answer the question ¿Dónde vives? and saying where we live in Spanish. For this lesson you will need a pen and pencil and some paper, as well as another person or a cuddly toy to have a conversation with!
