Friday’s Writing Task

This week we will be using ‘OAK ACADEMY’ to look at ‘Persuasive Writing’.

Today’s task is writing a persuasive letter.

Watch the video and complete the independent activities on the slides.

Make a note of any of the language that you like – you might be able to use it when it comes to writing your own.

DON’T FORGET to do your spellings test today!

Friday’s Reading task

On a Friday, your reading task will be to read a poem and to answer questions related to the poem and how it makes you feel.

Today’s poem is called ‘A Poem to be Read Silently’ by Pie Corbett
